Indivisible California StateStrong (CASS) is a statewide coalition of Indivisible groups across California, including us. CASS has endorsed and prioritized a number of bills that will help California rein in corporate greed. Two of these bills, AB 1542 and AB 2564, aim to stop corporations from selling and tracking our sensitive data for profit.
For these bills to move forward to the Governor for signature, they must be passed in the State Senate by Monday, August 31, 2026. Your Senator needs to hear from YOU this week. You can find your state representatives here.

AB 1542 closes a dangerous loophole in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) by banning businesses from selling or sharing sensitive personal information to third parties.
AB 2564 prohibits surveillance pricing. Surveillance pricing is when a company sets customized prices for consumers based on personally identifiable information collected through electronic surveillance technology.
