Find Your Representatives
Let them hear from you
Contact your elected officials often! They need to hear from regular people about their policies.
To talk to your Members of Congress, dial their local office number, then speak to a staffer or leave a message - either way counts. Leave your name and zipcode so they know you are a constituent. Call only YOUR members of Congress.
Hate the phone? Resistbot is your friend. If you use Resistbot or write an email to your elected officials, make sure to use your own words. Copy-pasted emails are discounted by Congressional staff. In-depth, personal stories are most effective.

Start with District Supervisors
This is where you have the most power to influence our government. Get to know your supervisor. Call them, then go meet them face-to-face. They need to know what you care about, and they need to know we are holding them accountable. Start with the 3 steps below.
Rollover your neighborhood to identify your supervisor.
Find them in the list and put their number into your phone. You’ll be calling them again soon.
Call or email them. Talking to their staff is great. Say something like this:
“Hello Supervisor ______
My name is _____, and I live in your district. I am a member of Indivisible SF, and I urge you not to cave to President Trump. We need you to work with the Mayor and the other Supervisors on the Board as a team to plan and meet Trump’s threats to our freedom with clarity, determination, and unity with our sister cities. Can I count on you to lead us back to a healthy democracy?”
