Tell your Members of Congress that I expect them to say No to Netanyahu and skip his address. They must send a clear message to him that they do not support his prolonged war or the bloodshed it has caused and take a stand in support of a ceasefire. 

On Thursday, the Senate is scheduled to vote on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which controls more than half of all federal spending. The current bill is an expression of Trump/Republican values, and ignores our ongoing crises. Urge your Senators to oppose the current NDAA.

Last night, under Trump’s orders, a civilian airport in Iraq was bombed, killing a top military official from Iran. This may be seen as an overt act of war, and pushes us closer than ever to war with Iran and further conflicts in the Middle East. We can’t afford more unjust, unauthorized, unending war. Tell your MoC’s to do everything in their power to stop the escalation of this conflict.

It is now being reported that House and Senate negotiators are trying to finalize a National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that may be voted on before the Thanksgiving recess. Tell your MoC’s to make sure the NDAA restricts the President’s war powers.

By “protecting the oil fields” in Syria, Trump is engaging in unilateral and illegal warfare that may constitute a war crime. Tell your MoC’s to introduce a War Powers act to block the unauthorized military activity.

Tell Speaker Pelosi to begin an impeachment inquiry against Trump. Multiple grounds for impeachment already exist, including obstruction of justice, abuse of authority, dereliction of duty, failure to faithfully execute the laws of the United States, directing subordinates to ignore Congressional subpoenas, refusal to obey a lawful court order, and conduct unbecoming.
