My name is __________. I am a constituent, and my zip code is _______. I am a member of Indivisible SF.
In light of the unfolding famine created by the Netanyahu government’s policies, I am calling today to express my profound disappointment with your vote on July 30 to defeat the two joint resolutions of disapproval (JRDs) which aimed to block sales of weapons to Israel, I urge you to revert your position, join your colleagues in the Senate who supported these resolutions and pressure the Trump White House to support a ceasefire and end the starvation of children of Gaza.
Background
Despite condemnation from humanitarian aid and medical organizations across the world, the U.S. government has allowed the deadly flow of weapons to continue with little to no oversight or consequence. Those in power are ignoring international and U.S. law meant to prohibit the sale of weapons to countries that commit gross human rights violations.
The current situation in Gaza is an intentional humanitarian disaster, and refusing to take meaningful measures against the Netanyahu government reflects complicity with its actions. It will only lead to further isolation of Israel on the world’s stage and it needs to end.

This Week's US Congressional Call Scripts:
Our Senators are standing with us.
Congress must hold the Trump/MAGA regime in check, and that includes defending broadcasters’ right to report the news and commentators’ opinions freely and our right to be well informed
Members of Congress must use every lever in their toolbox: from immediate oversight to investigating all the possible corruption the abrupt decision to wage war on Iran to hold this administration accountable and putting an immediate stop to this war. We need to let Congress know we won’t accept anything less.

Thank your Senators for standing against the SAVE Act and urge them to prevent the bill from being rammed through by Republicans.
The manipulatively titled “Stop the Sexualization of Children Act” proposes legislation to withhold federal funding if schools do not comply with the government’s opinion of what children should or should not be allowed to read. Tell Your Representatives: Vote NO on a National Book Ban!
Demand your Members of Congress continue to work to stop the war on Iran
Unfortunately, KOSA is back with revised language and deceptively incorporated into the Kids Internet and Digital Safety (KIDS) Act. Tell Your Representatives: Vote NO on KIDS!
President Donald Trump has launched unauthorized military strikes on Iran, dragging the United States into yet another war without approval from Congress. The Constitution is clear: Congress, NOT the president, holds the power to declare war and to approve or disapprove sustained military engagement. Urge your Members of Congress to use every let option available to them to oppose this war..
Urge your electeds to immediately support the resolution to remove US from hostilities in Iran and curtail presidential war powers.
