[For Senator Padilla]: I am disappointed that the Senator voted for the NDAA with anti-transgender provisions. Sacrificing our community members in a poison pill is dangerous and shows that the Senator is willing to capitulate to Trump’s agenda.
[Bonus: for Senator Schiff]: Thank you for voting against the NDAA with anti-transgender provisions. We appreciate the Senator trying to protect our community members.
Background
It happened before we could react: The House and Senate both passed the National Defense Authorization Act, the bill that funds the US military. Unfortunately, this year’s NDAA included a provision inserted by MAGA Republicans that would ban gender-affirming care for transgender servicemembers.
Our new senator, Senator Schiff, voted no on this bill, and we want to thank him for that. Our other senator, however, voted to pass this harmful bill, and he needs to hear from us that that wasn’t OK.
Tell Senator Schiff: Thank you for standing up for transgender servicemembers!
Tell Senator Padilla: We need you to protect trans rights, including those of transgender servicemembers.

Members of Congress must use every lever in their toolbox: from immediate oversight to investigating all the possible corruption the abrupt decision to wage war on Iran to hold this administration accountable and putting an immediate stop to this war. Unfortunately, KOSA is back with revised language and deceptively incorporated into the Kids Internet and Digital Safety (KIDS) Act. Tell Your Representatives: Vote NO on KIDS!
President Donald Trump has launched unauthorized military strikes on Iran, dragging the United States into yet another war without approval from Congress. The Constitution is clear: Congress, NOT the president, holds the power to declare war and to approve or disapprove sustained military engagement. Urge your Members of Congress to use every let option available to them to oppose this war..
Urge your electeds to immediately support the resolution to remove US from hostilities in Iran and curtail presidential war powers.
