Fight back against onerous paperwork requirements
File a Public Comment against the Federal Voter ID requirement. The amendment to federal voter registration rules would mean that a valid government issued proof of citizenship ID would be required when someone registers to vote. For many American citizens, particularly the poor, those in rural areas, and those living in states like California with drivers licenses that do not meet "Real ID" criteria, proof of citizenship IDs are either costly or impossible to obtain. Provide your comment in opposition to this amendment by Monday, October 20, 2025.

CA Fair Elections will be on the 2026 ballot! Governor Newsom signed SB 42, the CA Fair Elections Act, to put legalizing public campaign financing on the 2026 ballot!
