Indivisible California StateStrong (CASS) is a statewide coalition of Indivisible groups across California, including us. CASS has endorsed and prioritized a number of bills that will help California to stand up against federal immigration enforcement, rein in corporate greed, expand access to renewable energy, and protect our most vulnerable residents.
For these bills to move forward in the legislature, they must be passed in their chamber of origin by Friday, May 29, 2026. Our representatives need to hear from YOU that you support CASS's legislative agenda. You can find your state representatives here.
Take time this week to email your Assemblymember to express your support for the following bills:
AB 1537, prohibiting police officers from moonlighting as ICE agents
AB 1540, restoring access to the 988 suicide and crisis lifeline for LGBTQ+ Californians
AB 1633, taxing the hell out of private prison operators
AB 1655, preventing CalWORKs aid from being unfairly reduced when a child in the home is unlawfully detained by ICE
AB 1715, prohibits corporations from spending money on elections or ballot measures
AB 2122, ending bench warrants for infractions
AB 2483, allows formerly-incarcerated firefighters to be employed as firefighters after their release
