Voting has started: October is voting month!
You may already have received your ballot in the mail. And, according to the SF Board of Elections, people are already voting: returned ballots are now being processed.
Our recommendation: open that ballot up RIGHT NOW. You don’t have to fill it out all at once; you can start on it now, do some more tomorrow, and keep going piece by piece until you’re done.
All of the information on how to vote is on our Vote page. Our voter guide is on our Endorsements page.

Once you’re done, put it in the purple return envelope, seal that envelope, and sign and date the envelope. Then drop it off at your nearest San Francisco (or your county if not in SF) ballot drop box. Or, hold on to it and drop it off together with us at No Kings: Vote Early on Saturday, October 17th.
Due to expected possible delays in voting by postal mail, we recommend returning your ballot in an official ballot drop box in your county of residence instead of a USPS mailbox. You can return your ballot in another county’s drop box, but they’ll have to mail it to your county.
