Thank you to those who volunteered with us Oct 2–4!

We had a busy weekend at multiple events around the city.

On Friday, our event monitors protected a No On D march in the Mission.

On Saturday, some of us went to the Connie Chan campaign kickoff, where we provided visibility to her campaign and other progressive initiatives.

Also on Saturday, some of us went to the Bernie Sanders Yes on 40 rally, where we served free water to the crowd standing in line. As the rally was delayed, we provided cold water, hot flyers, and friendly conversation, and collected garbage for the crowd for three hours. (6 gallons of water with 2 bags of ice, and four 24-packs of bottled water! Shout-out to Bel Clift Market at Geary & Taylor for cheerfully selling us the water, ice, and cups!)

We also had volunteers at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in Golden Gate Park promoting No Kings.

On Sunday, our volunteers showed up for the Prop 4 campaign kickoff.

And all through the weekend, our volunteers flyered around the city! Not to mention our faithful canvassers here in San Francisco and in red districts of California.

We’re proud to have such a dedicated crew willing to brave the heat, spread information, canvass for progressive causes, and serve our communities. Thank you!
