We are Indivisible SF.
Our members act every day to enact our progressive values: strengthening democracy, healthcare for all, economic justice, climate justice, racial and gender justice and reproductive rights. On the federal, state and local level, we hold our elected officials accountable!

Want to resist Trump's fascist agenda? Come join us and let's figure out how to do that together.
On January 20, we call on our communities to organize teams, call your neighbors and classmates, and turn your back and walk out on fascism. Host mutual aid planning meetings, organize public service, but walk out to block the normal routines of power, and make the stakes real. This is a protest and a promise. In the face of fascism, we will be ungovernable.

This Week's Top Actions
On January 8, wannabe king Trump asserted to the New York Times that his power to unilaterally use military force internationally and domestically is constrained only by: "My own morality. My own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me.” Call your Members of Congress and tell them: Defend our Constitution against Trump’s power-grab.
For months, ICE and other federal agents have escalated their operations in neighborhoods across the country, resulting in increasingly disturbing scenes and illegal conduct. Our communities have been left reeling as agents have arrested U.S. citizens, dragged children from their beds in the middle of the night in zip-ties, smashed car windows, and even driven away from an arrest scene with a toddler still in the backseat. Now, ICE agents have tragically killed without just cause a beloved community member in Minneapolis. And yet, the administration has the audacity to ask Congress for even more money to detain and deport people.
With the illegal military strike on Venezuela and abduction of its leader Nicolas Maduro, this is a return to the era in which the US asserted unlimited power over Western Hemisphere nations. Tell your Members of Congress to reassert Congress’ unique power to declare war and to investigate the illegal actions of this administration.

The callous killing of Renee Nicole Good has pierced the illusory protective gear of white privilege, particularly for white women. Underneath outrage and grief is a new reality that will eventually need to be examined and may be difficult to accept. Tragic events have a way of shaking things up. Is a change in the collective consciousness in the air? Will it manifest positive and necessary change/s in 2026?
The murder of Renee Nicole Good was part of a pattern. Read about the pattern of violence prevalent in ICE.
The Trump administration is on a crusade against trans healthcare. Here’s a deep dive into the dangers of this policy.
We support businesses that refuse to cooperate with ICE. It is infuriating that not only is Hilton openly cooperating with fascists, but also retaliating against one of their subsidiaries for refusing to cooperate. Therefore, we recommend you boycott Hilton Hotel.

Honor the Selma, Alabama, to Montgomery, Alabama marches and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by experiencing the MLK2026 commemorative march/parade from San Francisco's Caltrain Station to Yerba Buena Gardens.
The 2026 MLK March is a poignant and symbolic journey that pays homage to the historic Selma to Montgomery marches and the monumental Voting Rights Act of 1965. Spanning 1.5 miles, this commemorative march and parade begins at San Francisco's Caltrain Station and winds its way through the heart of the city, ultimately culminating at the serene Yerba Buena Gardens.
Thousands of participants, representing diverse backgrounds, join together in unity, echoing the spirit of solidarity that defined the civil rights movement. As the march progresses, it becomes a living tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s unwavering dedication to justice and equality.
The march's profound conclusion takes place at Yerba Buena Gardens, where an interfaith commemoration, in partnership with the San Francisco Interfaith Council, further underscores the importance of unity and faith in the pursuit of social progress. This moment of reflection and unity reminds us of the ongoing struggle for civil rights and the need to continue marching forward towards a more just and inclusive society.
The annual march begins at 11:00am, and marchers are encourages to arrive early.

Seems like for every big SF issue, there will be a vote in 2026.
The June ballot will have the fight for Nancy Pelosi's seat and special supervisor elections that test how much heat remains from the Engardio recall. In November, half of supervisor and school board seats will be in play, and the public defender’s race will highlight civil rights and public safety. There will also likely be taxes for public transit and bonds for affordable housing.
Who’s on your ballot? What are your hot buttons? Join the discussion with San Francisco State political science professor Jason McDaniel, Westside Family Democratic Club board member Cyn Wang, and Rose Pak Asian American Club president Jeremy Lee.
The San Francisco Public Press's Lila LaHood and The Frisc's Alex Lash will moderate the conversation and audience Q&A. Bring your questions, and don't leave any chads hanging!
