Companies Complicit in the MAGA Regime
Those of you who’ve taken Indivisible’s One Million Rising training know the importance of destabilizing the pillars of the regime. One of those pillars is corporate complicity.
DHS and ICE could not do what they do without goods and services being provided through multi-million contracts funded with taxpayer money, including:
Sophisticated communications systems
Surveillance technology
Case management equipment
Law enforcement investigative databases
Fingerprint scanners
These products and services are the cogs of the MAGA machine that chews up people’s lives day after day. We need our press to expose these companies’ complicity with fascism and hypocritical betrayal of their professed values. The regime’s actions are shameful—so let’s shame the companies making them possible.
Pulling at the Threads
ICE is part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), so to find the resources at ICE’s disposal, we can start by looking at DHS contracts. Shedding light on the multi-million-dollar contracts that are proliferating like wildfire now that Congress has gifted DHS with $165 billion is no easy task—but this is a start.
An important caveat: DHS encompasses numerous agencies, including Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), among others, so some of these resources may be shared within the Department—but we can reasonably assume that the Trump regime will favor ICE more often than not. Moreover, digging into which of these contracts are supporting ICE brutality and how is the media’s job, and we call on the media to do it.
Here is a select list of companies that have current contracts with DHS.

With this brief peek into a system set up on a web of corporate greed that hurts our communities, what can be done? Will the media step up and report these lucrative deals and the damage they enable? Will companies reconsider their alliances with DHS when they hear the public outcry?
