Contact Media companies and demand they report on corporate entanglements with ICE
There is a quiet pipeline of taxpayer money flowing to firms that don’t publicly disclose their law enforcement entanglements and these multi-million-dollar DHS/ICE contracts need to get attention and be revealed to the American people. We need you to reach out to media outlets to bring their attention to this situation and/or tag online, where and when the opportunity presents itself, info pertaining to corporations and DHS/ICE entanglements.
How to conduct oneself
You can be courteous, or you can be firm, but no threats, nor foul language are to be expressed. If speaking with a government official, do provide your first name, (last name may be necessary, in some cases for some officials as well as your zip code) and specify the name of the person you wish to direct the issue to.)
Here is what we want you to tell the media to do:
Request press conferences with DHS and/or interviews with corporate individuals to get answers which will help expose this system for greater transparency.
Provide media coverage to elevate for public awareness of these entanglement, particularly given the increasing public discontent of these ICE raids.
Tell media to elevate the increasing public discontent of these ICE raids
Ask if their news outlet is aware of these business dealings with these major corporations? And ask if they can receive information, which you are willing to send their way.
Since we cannot always rely on national legacy media, such as the New York Times or Washington Post alone, and since local news is of primary importance to our communities, we are providing a resource for local California media sources to help with your outreach.

International News Agencies
Yes! We are being strategic by wanting you to reach out foreign media outlets!
Given that our US media is unreliable, plus many Americans get their news from foreign sources who frankly tend to have higher journalistic standards than that of the United States and offer better coverage even for our own US affairs. Some news stories will take off here in The States only after gotten wind of it in foreign news outlets. Additionally many of these foreign outlets has a wide-range of global audiences to which their own outlets may act on their own reporting.
We recommend these outlets.
