Vote YES on Prop 50 - the Election Rigging Response Act

Bottom line: We must take power in the House in 2026.

We must stand up and fight back against anti-democratic MAGA election rigging. 

Republican-led states like Texas are redistricting to try to guarantee a Republic House majority in 2026. Independently-districted states, like California, are now trying to temporarily create districts favoring Democrats to attempt to fight back. Prop 50 will allow this to be done in California.

It’s your power. Red-state redistricting is designed to take representation away from YOU. Blue-state redistricting is a way to balance the scales and preserve the representation you, as an American Citizen, have a right to. 

How it works.

If passed, Prop 50 instates Amendment 8 to the California Constitution, which itself institutes redrawn maps outlined in AB 604, until 2030.

It’s temporary. Power to redraw independent districts goes back to the Citizens Redistricting Commission in 2030. This is the normal schedule for redistricting, as it occurs every 10 years according to the Census. 

What you can do.

Vote YES on Prop 50 by Nov. 4 and join efforts to GOTV.

Ballots will go out by Monday, October 6.
