Jobs with Justice
We bring together unions, worker centers and community organizations to build a powerful movement for workers rights’ and racial justice in San Francisco. We fight for a strong public sector and investments in our communities, pathways to good jobs, and to uphold labor rights for all workers. Find out more about our work with SF People’s Budget Coalition, the Free City SF coalition, and the California Coalition for Worker Power.
Federal Unionists Network
Join or start a union
The Trump Administration is waging an immoral, illegal campaign to dismantle agencies, eliminate vital jobs, and rob the public of the services, protection, and care they deserve. They are hollowing out the government to enrich themselves, and in doing so, they are attacking the very people we serve. Join or start a union where you work to increase your power to defend the people and agencies who serve them.
National Active and Retired Federal Employees

This EWOC training series will help you and your co-workers build your union from the ground up. You’ll hear from experienced organizers and people like you who are organizing their own workplaces. In small discussion groups with participants across the US and beyond, you'll practice connecting with your co-workers, discover what you need to take strategic action around common concerns, and prepare for what the boss has in store.
San Francisco Labor Council
Building Trades Craft Unions Offer Apprenticeship Programs
From our friends at the San Francisco Building and Constructions Trades Council
Building Trades Apprenticeships prepare women and men for careers in construction. Although all construction employment is temporary, these careers are genuine. Continuity between employers is achieved generally through the union hiring hall system. Pay is good to excellent, health benefits are provided both for workers and their families, and retirement plans are among the best and most stable in this country.
National Day Laborer Organizing Network
Adopt a Day Labor Corner
We are calling on people of conscience to stand with immigrants in their community—literally. To go to the places immigrants gather to work or look for work—Home Depots, car washes, delis, day-labor centers, hiring sites—as allies, witnesses, neighbors and friends. Adopt a Corner is an immediate, urgent call to action, grounded in solidarity. We the people need to defend our communities and one another NOW against our government’s campaign of intimidation, assault, arrests and violence. If you are not at risk of deportation, we are asking you to consider taking action today.
Nuevo Sol Day Labor and Domestic Worker Center
Find out where day laborers and other immigrant workers in your community are at risk of harassment and arrest. Go there and commit to showing up regularly. Be present. Be consistent. Build relationships and offer protection. Stand beside immigrants in the face of injustice—peacefully, powerfully, with love and care. We don’t need to feed their violence, we need to build community. Remember: Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo. Only the people save the people. That has always been true—and never more than now.
