California Nurses Association
Support nurses caring for all patients

The Trump Administration has changed the rules, no longer designating hospitals, as well as schools and churches, as "sensitive areas," free from immigration enforcement. Nurses make a vow to care for all people, and we know hospitals should remain places of healing, where all people can receive care, without fear.

Armed, masked ICE agents are standing in the way of nurses effectively caring for patients. Help nurses by advocating for all patients, regardless of immigration status.

California Nurses Association
Save hospitals facing deadly funding cuts

Trump and Republicans slashed Affordable Care Act subsidies and gutted health care programs like Medicaid. Now, hundreds of hospitals are at risk of service cuts or closure. Nurses, patients, and our allies launched a national “Red Alert: Save Our Hospitals” tour to build community power. Let’s reverse health care cuts, protect our lifesaving hospitals, and create a future that works for everyone, with Medicare for All .

Sign our nurses’ “Vision for a Healthy Society” petition.

PERIOD.

Menstrual equity refers to the affordability, accessibility & safety of menstrual products for all people, including laws & policies that acknowledge & consider menstruation. Ending this crisis in our lifetime requires systemic policy change.

At PERIOD., we work to draft, pass, and implement policies that further access to period products in schools and end the discriminatory tampon tax. Advocate for access to menstrual products in schools, an end to the “tampon tax”, and learn about what bills are in state legislatures.
