No Kings 2 in the Bay Area
On June 14, we said NO KINGS.
On October 18 at 1:30 PM at Sue Bierman Park, let’s say it EVEN LOUDER.
Trump wants to be a dictator, a monarch, a tyrant. He’s trying to destroy everything America stands for, everything America is supposed to be.
This October 18, we’ll be protesting the Trump regime by taking to the streets as part of Indivisible National’s second NO KINGS Nationwide Day of Defiance.
Here’s what you can do right now.
Put up flyers
We have flyers ready for you to print and put up in your neighborhood!
Help us cover costs
Permits, printing, and pumping out sound are all expensive. We expect to lay out thousands of dollars to make our march happen, and other organizers listed here are likely spending similar sums. Please donate if you can to the organizers of any No Kings 2 events you participate in.
Our costs for No Kings 1 were entirely covered by your donations—thank you. With your support, we can make this happen again.
Donate to our Venmo.
Don’t have Venmo? Donate to our ActBlue.
Go to your local No Kings protest.
There will be No Kings protests all over the country, and most likely all over the Bay Area. We encourage you to go to your local event—then, get to know the organizers and get plugged into their ongoing work.
Taking power away from a wannabe king isn’t a one-day project. Let showing up to No Kings be the start of your involvement.
No Kings Day events in San Francisco
Human Banner at Ocean Beach: Gather at 11 AM near stairway #7 near Balboa. Help spell out a message on the sand before heading over to the No Kings march across town. Hosted by Brad Newsham and Travis Van Brasch. Sign up on Mobilize so they know how many people will be there to fill in the letters.
No Kings Day in San Francisco: Gather at 1:30 PM at Sue Bierman Park (north of Embarcadero Plaza). March starts at 2 PM sharp and will proceed to Civic Center Plaza for a rally which starts at 3 PM. Hosted by Indivisible SF (that’s us!), 50501 SF, and National Nurses United. Sign up on Mobilize. If you’d like to help us cover our costs, please donate to @IndivisibleSF on Venmo or to our ActBlue.
For folks coming from outside the City
First: Again, please go to your local No Kings event and get plugged in with your local organizers.
If, after that event wraps up, you still want to come to our event in the City: Expect traffic to be an absolute mess and parking to be even more scarce than usual. The Civic Center parking garage will not be a viable option. If you’re driving, consider going to Daly City BART, San Bruno BART, or Millbrae BART, which have adjoining parking garages which may be able to accommodate the influx. Take BART to Embarcadero (to march) or Civic Center/UN Plaza (if you want to go directly to the rally).
