Bay Resistance Mass People's Assembly

  • 3750 18th Street San Francisco, California, 94114 United States (map)

The attacks on our communities and our democracy are escalating. As the 2026 midterm elections approach, we must defend the integrity of our elections and say Hands Off Our Vote.

Join hundreds of people from across the Bay Area for the Bay Get Ready Mass People's Assembly, where we'll assess the political landscape, prepare for potential election scenarios, practice democratic decision making, and develop a shared strategy for how we organize between now and November.

Following the People's Assembly, participants will choose one of two training tracks:

1. Intro to Noncooperation: Learn how strategic noncooperation can be used to defend democracy and defeat authoritarianism. Ideal for those new to Bay Resistance trainings.

2. Nonviolent Direct Action Training 2.0: Designed for participants who have already completed a Bay Resistance noncooperation training. This advanced track includes in-person direct-action role-plays and skill-building.

Whether you're organizing your neighborhood, mobilizing voters, taking on billionaire-backed authoritarianism, or preparing for collective action, this gathering is an opportunity to connect with others across the Bay and strengthen our collective readiness.

Come with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, or organization. Together, we'll build the relationships, skills, and strategy needed to defend our communities and our democracy.

Lunch will be provided.

Registration is required.

We look forward to seeing you on August 22.

Doors open at 9 AM, program starts at 10 AM
