Join Scientist Rebellion Turtle Island and Oil & Gas Action Network as they old a vigil for the EPA's most powerful tool for fighting climate change: the Endangerment Finding. The Trump regime gave it the axe earlier this year, ending 17 years of work to reduce greenhouse emissions. We will mourn this loss together, through our somber presence, our songs of woe, our eulogies, and our demonstrations of respect. Without the Endangerment Finding to support climate regulations, we are all suffering.

Last month, protesters and delivered a couple of oversized cards and a bouquet of flowers (above) to the EPA offices. A few of the EPA employees they talked with were grateful for the concern and presence.
The April 14th action is designed to look more like a funeral than a protest. Attendees will all dress in black or dark clothes (fairly plain and professional, or otherwise appropriate for "grieving"), and carry flowers or e-candles (rather than signs), presenting as mourners. Rather than chants, they will sing a dirge re-written for the purpose. A few people will offer "eulogies" for what has been lost.
