The CPUC is on the verge of allowing Cruise and Waymo to roll out thousands more driverless cars across the City, exacerbating existing problems of driverless cars wandering into emergency scenes and forcing responders to babysit them. These expansions should be on hold until they’re able to respond to personnel telling them to go around.
