Call Script

My name is __________. I am a constituent, and my zip code is _______. I am a member of Indivisible SF.

[For Asm. Haney]: I’m disappointed that you allowed AB 1999 and AB 2200 to die in the Appropriations Committee. Your constituents need you to stand up for them, but you took the side of PG&E and health insurance companies instead.

Background

AB 1999 is a bill which would stop the big Utility Tax by capping it at $10/month and prohibiting it from rising any faster than inflation, was killed by the Appropriations Committee. AB 2200 would have established a state-wide guaranteed healthcare system. Asm. Haney, who is a member of the Appropriations Commitee, did not vote for these bills and made no effort to pass them through the Appropriations Committee. Let him know you are disappointed in his votes.
