Tell the Board of Supervisors: Lift the curfew!
Update: This script is obsolete!
The very day we sent this script out, Mayor Breed announced that tonight is the last night of curfew. Thank you to everyone who called into the Supervisors’ meeting yesterday and who protested over the past several days!
Call Script
I am a member of Indivisible San Francisco and I live in district <your district>.
I am calling to ask the Supervisor to vote YES on lifting the curfew. It is an unnecessary and unconstitutional abridgement of First Amendment rights in a time where people must express their anger and make their demands for police accountability. It does not make us safer; quite the opposite, it gives the police yet another pretext on which to threaten San Franciscans. Make the City safer by ending the curfew.
Context
The Board is considering lifting the curfew in San Francisco. It expires automatically on Saturday, but every day it continues is another day that police—including both SFPD officers and the officers from numerous other agencies that the City has brought in to enforce the curfew—will continue to use the curfew to repress both protesters and people going about everyday business.
We support lifting the curfew, and several ISF members called in yesterday to register their support for ending it, but the measure failed to come to a vote. It was continued to Thursday.

San Francisco’s Environment Department (SFE) is charged with implementing the city’s ambitious Climate Action Plan, and yet its share of the city budget is a few tenths of a percent. And Mayor Lurie is planning to drastically reduce the amount SFE receives from the General Fund.
Urge your supervisor to support a transfer from the City's General Fund to SFMTA to prevent drastic service cuts.
