We held a video meeting with the staff of Senator Feinstein. Senator Feinstein expressed support for our demands for Congress to pass a coronavirus stimulus bill that helps workers and hospitals, instead of bailing out corporations. We also discussed our concerns regarding the state of the Census during the shutdown.

The budget fight in Congress is coming to a close, for now, with the passage of Continuing Resolutions. Our MoC’s were able to prevent any poison pills from entering the resolutions, but were unable to enact any restrictions on Trump and the Republicans’ abuses.
