Yes on Prop D!
Indivisible SF has signed on as a co-sponsor to Proposition D, The Overpaid CEO Tax, on the San Francisco June ballot. Prop D, sponsored and funded ($4.5 Million) by SEIU Health Care Locals 2015 and 1021 and IFPTE city engineers union.
Prop D, Overpaid CEO Tax, is a small surcharge on the truly largest Corporations of over 1000 employees and annual revenue of over $1billion and whose CEOs make over one hundred times the median salary of their employees. If corporations don’t want to pay this tax, they can reduce CEO pay or pay their workers more!
The average Corporation received an average of $200 Million from Trump tax taxes in the first term. Prop D represents a mere fraction of those gains-from 0.183% to a max of 1%. No San Francisco Corporation has left the City as a result of the previously passed Overpaid CEO Tax! (Don’t fall for Grow SF’s BS analysis!)
The Over Paid CEO Tax will generate about $300 Million for critical services: Health Care Worker, Public Hospitals, long term care, first responders and services that keep our neighborhoods safe and healthy. Prop D funding for our general fund will reduce the $650 Million deficit and protect any general fund service at risk for cuts.
Vote YES on D by June 2, 2026. Volunteer to pass Prop D!
