Description: The youngest defenders of Democracy can come together to make posters or draw letters to their Members of Congress.

This is a gathering for children to make signs for the Labor Day March or write or draw letters to Congress of the sort "Please support Big Bird", or "I like my school, please keep all the nice programs from the Department of Education.", or "I like my public library. I like having all kinds of books to read."

Possibly with a few words of assistance from parents. We will mail letters to the proper Member of Congress. Maybe your child may even receive a personal letter from their Senator.

Note: The M tram runs right by the Library.
