Republicans are busy rolling back federal non-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ people, so it is important that we in California pass our own. It’s almost end of session and these bills MUST pass.

Previously, federal guidelines designated schools as “sensitive locations,” making them largely off-limits for routine immigration enforcement. However, in January 2025, the Trump administration revoked these protections, allowing immigration officers greater access to schools and other community spaces.
