The homelessness crisis affects our entire City and we all need to do our part in providing adequate shelter and services. I’m asking Supervisor___ to vote yes on Supervisor Haney’s ordinance which requires a Navigation Center in every district and which improves operational standards so that these Centers can better serve those who need it. Background
The waiting list for shelter beds has consistently hovered above 1,000 people and the number of applications for affordable housing outnumbers the available units by multiple thousands. Almost every Supervisor claims to support Navigation Centers, yet they are only present in three out of eleven districts. Tell your Supervisor to support the Ordinance requiring a Navigation Center in every district!
Trump has been using San Francisco’s homelessness crisis to distract and confuse us, but we have a chance to take meaningful action, right now, and help our unhoused neighbors take their first steps towards permanent housing.
