Oppose the Census Bureau’s proposal to share sensitive citizenship data from the 2020 Census with state and local officials.

Please post a public comment directly with the Department of Defense, in opposition to their proposal to share sensitive citizenship data from the 2020 census with state and local officials here. (Deadline January 18).

The U.S. Constitution requires congressional districts to be drawn using total population, but this proposal would allow states and localities to make maps based on skewed data -- therefore excluding large portions of our population from the political process.

Sample: "I am writing to voice my strong opposition to the Census Bureau's plan to share unreliable, highly-targeted citizenship data with state and local officials for redistricting purposes."
