We met with the staff of Senator Feinstein!

We met with Jim Lazarus (State Director) and Abby Ellis (Field Representative) at the Dianne Feinstein’s San Francisco office Thursday. We discussed avoiding war in Iran, our concerns about the NDAA, and the importance of a fair impeachment trial in the Senate. Jim shared with us that the Senator will fight to have a real trial with witnesses, and believes there is a good chance of this happening.

We asked if the Senator had visited any ICE or CBP detention facilities. She has not, but her staff regularly visits the California facilities. We also asked if the Senator has taken a position on Senator Wyden’s election security bill. They did not have an answer but will get back to us.
