SF 2026: Let's Talk About All These Elections

Seems like for every big SF issue, there will be a vote in 2026.

The June ballot will have the fight for Nancy Pelosi's seat and special supervisor elections that test how much heat remains from the Engardio recall. In November, half of supervisor and school board seats will be in play, and the public defender’s race will highlight civil rights and public safety. There will also likely be taxes for public transit and bonds for affordable housing.

Who’s on your ballot? What are your hot buttons? Join the discussion with San Francisco State political science professor Jason McDaniel, Westside Family Democratic Club board member Cyn Wang, and Rose Pak Asian American Club president Jeremy Lee.

The San Francisco Public Press's Lila LaHood and The Frisc's Alex Lash will moderate the conversation and audience Q&A. Bring your questions, and don't leave any chads hanging!
