Zoom Rules
Mute yourself when not speaking. The host may mute you themselves if there’s a lot of background noise.
Unmute yourself before speaking. If you’re speaking and you’re muted, the host may let you know that you are muted.
In other words: When you are called upon, then unmute yourself. When you are done, then re-mute yourself. If on the phone, use * 6.
We’re excited to have you all here and we respect and encourage the diversity of our new and current members. To that end, do note that our entire code of conduct applies: While we don’t expect bad behavior, we will address it. Attendees who engage in harassment, trolling or hate speech, or post inappropriate or malicious content into the chat box will be removed from the meeting.
To raise your hand, use the Raise Hand option at the bottom of your Zoom window, or type “stack” into the chat box. If you’re on the phone, press * 9.
If audio/video quality begins to suffer, the host may ask you to turn off your video or do it themselves.
Be aware of what you put in chats, even if they are private messages, as transcripts can be saved.
