Help Us Keep RV Residents Safe and Informed

This Saturday the Coalition on Homelessness is hosting a day of outreach with the RV community in order to help keep folks safe from displacement and unjust tows. The RV ban is coming down soon, 2 hour time limits will soon be enforced, but sadly very few RV residents know there is a permit program, even fewer know how to check to see if they have a permit, or if they were erroneously left out (already one case reported to us). Much of the information is not in the language spoken, and is confusing and scary.

SO...

We need to make sure RV residents have the information they need in order to avoid being towed or pushed out of town away from their community support.

We are organizing a morning of outreach and need to get as many volunteers as possible to go out and flyer RVs with this vital information.

Saturday September 27th -- meet at Garfield Square Park between 10 and 11 am to go out with a map and a bunch of flyers to drop off on RVs.

We need folks to register ahead of time so we can partner you with a map that is close to your home etc.

Please distribute this flyer to others!

We thank you always for your support and hope to see you there.
