The holiday season is just around the corner which means it's time for family gatherings, festivities, and potentially, tough conversations with loved (or... not-so loved) ones.

Having tough conversations on tough topics can be tense, but at Rising Organizers, we love teaching people how to work through that tension. We know that discussion and persuasion can be hard, but that it can also can bring you closer to people, help you find solutions, or invite the other person to see the world differently. Changing people's hearts and minds isn't easy, but it's a core aspect of how we do our organizing work and how we build a more just and fair democracy.

That's why every year before Thanksgiving, we run a training to help prepare you for whatever tough conversations about organizing, democracy, or social justice you've got coming your way.
