Swing Left is reaching out to voters by text to determine where they stand on the recall and answer voters' questions.

Join Swing Left San Francisco and Swing Left Peninsula to oppose the Republican Recall of the Governor Newsom with Stop the Recall, which is Governor Newsom’s coordinated effort to oppose the Republican recall in California.

In 2003, the Republicans were successful in their Recall efforts which led to the election of Republican Governor Schwarzenegger. Trump supporters and the Republican Party are major funders of this Recall effort, which received enough signatures to move forward.

This is also an important opportunity to reach out to California voters on an off-year before Congressional elections in 2022.

A few things to keep in mind when you attend this text bank:

- Don’t worry if you’ve never done something like this before. We’ll provide training and support.

- You’ll need a laptop computer or tablet to text.
