Join us to make calls to Georgia voters to make sure that they cast their ballot in the January 5th, 2021 runoff election. Please select the dates and times that you are available to make calls and click “sign up” at the bottom of the page.
Don’t worry if you’ve never made calls or volunteered for an election before. We will train you and be there to answer any questions you have. Most people calling voters in Georgia are first-time campaign volunteers.
Our team uses a calling software that enables you to connect directly to one voter after another -- no need to mark phone numbers or listen to voicemails. It’s called the ThruTalk Dialer. When you sign up for your shift, you will receive an email from the New Georgia Project Action Fund via Mobilize with the link to join a Zoom training. Please join that Zoom training at the very beginning of your shift. We will walk you through the script we’ll be using to make calls. We will also go over exactly how to use the ThruTalk dialer.
Please note that you will need access to your computer throughout the entirety of your calling shift. Access to a strong Wi-Fi connection is also important. The ThruTalk dialer does not work on tablets. Headphones are recommended, but not necessary.
We’re looking forward to making calls with you! If you have any questions about getting started, please don’t hesitate to email us at help@ngpaf.org. We’re here to help!
