Come one and all to help Get Out The Vote for the United States Senate. Indivisible San Francisco is joining forces with Flip the West for a two-hour phone banking session calling voters in priority battleground states. It’s unthinkable to leave Mitch McConnell in charge of the U.S. Senate. Flipping the Senate is a must if we want to be successful in winning any of the changes we need. We also must hand Trump an overwhelming and unequivocal defeat - so every vote counts - and every phone call you make to Get Out the Vote counts.
What you need: Everyone needs to have Zoom. If you use the auto-dialer, you need to have the Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser installed on your Mac or PC (no IPads, no tablets, no other browsers). If you choose to dial manually (IA only), you will need a cell phone or land line, plus a computer, iPad or tablet. Instructions are included in the Toolkits you will get when you sign up. (The autodialer is faster, makes calls through your computer and the voter sees a local number; if you call on your phone, your number will be shown.)
What to expect: You will join Zoom and go to a breakout room for the state you are calling, or for training. Technical support will be available throughout the event to assist you with any issue large or small. There also will be opportunities to come together and share experiences.
