Impeaching the President was the most somber and difficult process in Congresswoman Speier's time in Congress. This was only the third time in our country’s history that Congress took this severe step to protect our democracy and uphold our Constitution.

Impeachment has occurred - now what? Congresswoman Speier invites you to join her for a town hall with constitutional experts to discuss the impeachment process and what's at stake for our country. We will delve deep into the Constitution and discuss what treason, bribery and high crimes and misdemeanors mean. While the Senate will act as judge and jury, the American people have every right to weigh in.

This town hall will be hosted in partnership with the San Mateo Counry Office of Education. Congresswoman Speier is particularly excited to have high school students participate in this important civics discussion.
