IndivisibleSF Day of Action: Turlock

WHAT: Indivisible SF Day of Action! In partnership with Swing Left and Sister District, we are taking a roadtrip to Turlock (a quick 100 miles east of SF in the Central Valley) to canvass for Josh Harder and flip CD-10!

Now is the time to take action to ensure a blue wave. If the news has got you fired up, this is the perfect opportunity to turn your passion into action. 

Going door-to-door to meet your fellow Californians and ask for their vote is one of the most effective ways to make a real impact on the upcoming elections. As we saw with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s historic win in June, there are lots of people who want what the left stands for, but don’t vote because they don’t feel anyone really cares about them.

“We won because, I think, we had a very clear winning message, and we took that message to doors that had never been knocked on before," Ocasio-Cortez told CNN.

If you’ve never canvassed before, get ready for a great experience! You’ll be a part of a caravan of awesome Indivisible SF members who will make the day fun and offer lots of confidence-boosting prep and support. We’ll canvas for a few hours and share a meal together afterwards.

As an added bonus, you will be entered into a raffle for some awesome prizes from Indivisible, Swing Left and Crooked Media.

WHEN: Saturday, September 15, 2018. We will coordinate carpools that meet at the Daly City Bart station at 7:30 am. Details on carpools to follow. Please be sure to RSVP so we can coordinate carpools.
