The San Francisco resistance groups are back for the a second round of Resist-A-Thon.
For our part, join the Ladies of the Resistance for some good music and dancing with Mission Street Beets and help flip the House!
The Mission Street Beets are a collective of Funk/Soul musicians in San Francisco who got their starts playing songs on the streets, busking. The crowd response was overwhelming so they formed a band. MSB brings a vibrant energy to soul and funk songs from across the decades and is comprised of some of the most talented up-and-coming musicians in the Bay Area. Check them out on Insta.
Nosh on delicious Wooty-Que BBQ, that has amassed a cult-like following and see why people will travel far and wide for these mouth-watering smoked meets.
All ticket proceeds go towards the resistance--flipping the house in November! Your contributions and donations will fund our activities, which are focused on voter registration, engagement and education in California’s most promising districts in the November elections. This is our last push to a blue wave. Join us and make history.
Who are the Ladies of the Resistance? We are a group of first-time activists who support progressive causes, engage in direct action, and enable others like us to join us in political activism. Learn more at http://www.ladiesoftheresistance.org.
