My name is _____. I’m a San Francisco resident, and a member of Indivisible SF. I’m calling to thank Mayor Lurie for publicly supporting our First Amendment rights in his press conference last Wednesday, and then convincing Trump not to invade our beautiful city Wednesday night. I’m grateful that the Mayor is standing up to protect all members of our city, including immigrants, the LGBTQ+ community, and the rights of those of us who are working to protect our city from the Trump administration. Background
It’s not every week that a mayor stands up for our Constitutional rights and then helps prevent a military invasion, but last week Mayor Lurie did just that. Let’s all take a couple of minutes to show our appreciation by calling his office to say thank you.
