I urge the Governor to order the release of all detainees held by ICE, often without charge, in facilities in the state. The poor conditions of detention centers leave detainees vulnerable to COVID-19. By refusing to release them, the Governor is complicit in their extreme danger of illness and death.

No Californian should be afraid of the cost of getting tested or treated for the Corona Virus. We should also ensure that people aren't penalized by their employers, if they have to self-quarantine. We don’t have to wait for DC for any of these protections. Let’s get it done!
